F196 Very Long Flying Position Hold FPV Camera Drone Flight Test Review

This automatic hover drone is one of the longest flying toy drones that I’ve tested. Automatically hovers in place with optical flow position hold. Find it here https://goo.gl/VvdU4f

Pros
– Inexpensive drone
– Very large 3.7V 2200mah battery provides over 18 minutes flight time.
– Optical flow position hold automatically holds the drone in motionless hover without need of pilot input.
– Gesture control to automatically take a photo by simply flashing a V sign with your fingers.
– Altitude hold, headless mode, and one key return.
– Uses common 2.4Ghz FPV (i.e. it should work with your phone).
– FPV video and photos are viewed and recorded to your smartphone using the HFun app available on Google Play here https://goo.gl/qbHGbj and iTunes here https://goo.gl/xVGuBw

Cons
– Usual WiFi lag and dropped frames in recorded video.
– Although app has active track capability, I could not get it to work with this drone.
