Xiaomi Funsnap Youpin IDOL Brushless GPS Folding Selfie Drone Flight Test Review

This folding selfie drone comes with advanced intelligent flight mode features and sensors. Find it here https://goo.gl/huDiH7 and here are some more sales from this vendor https://goo.gl/JDYqsV

Pros
– 1080p video looks nice with good contrast and colors.
– Folding travel drone stores nicely in its small portable travel case.
– Can be flown indoors or outdoors.
– Includes optical flow and acoustic sensors to maintain steady hover in low altitude indoor flight. Propellers are also well protected with surrounding propeller barruiers for indoor flight.
– GPS/GLONASS with barometer for steady hover in outdoor flight.
– Return to home and landing at takeoff point on command, loss of transmitter signal, or low battery.
– Includes tracking, gesture, dronie, rocket, and surround intelligent flight modes.
– Adjustable geofence.

Cons
– Uses 802.11ac 5G WiFi. Not all phones are capable of using this WiFi. Verify first that your phone is 802.11ac capable before purchasing!
– Video is unstabilized.
– Drone is really intended and designed for close-in selfies. As such, geofence max range barrier is relatively short at 60 meters.
– Somewhat short flight time of just under 7 minutes with proprietary 3S 1800mah battery.
– Tracking mode is somewhat iffy in its performance, and requires slow gradual movement for the drone to track you properly.
– I also couldn’t get gesture photo control to work outdoors, although it does seem to work well indoors.
