Night Flying - A Detailed Look At The Rules In the USA

Several weeks ago there was a lively debate about flying drones at night on Ken Heron’s Thursday Night Live program. Can you fly at night recreationally? What if you have your Part 107? If you can, what are the requirements? Who decides this rule – the AMA or the FAA?
Luckily, a viewer and friend of the online drone community, Philip Ulrich approached me with the answers. After doing a ton of research, Phil gives us the answers and sites every source that he reviewed.

This video should really serve 2 purposes. First, it clarifies the rules on night flying. Second, it illustrates the extensive amount of information available online to drone pilots. Please take a look at the links below. The content is free and very helpful when it comes to understanding how to fly safely and within the established rules.
