MJX Bugs 5W B5W FPV Brushless GPS Circle Follow Me Waypoints Drone Flight Test Review

This MJX B5W FPV drone has an excellent GPS system with advanced flight modes, and a 1080p full HD video camera. Find it here and save $35 with coupon HY35BW https://goo.gl/BGD5XW

Pros
– Good and very accurate GPS/GLONASS system. I quickly had 20 satellites locked on for excellent GPS accuracy.
– Brushless 1806 1500KV motors (same motors as Bugs 3).
– Flight modes include GPS position hold, altitude hold, auto takeoff/landing, headless mode, waypoints, fly to point, circle, and follow me modes.
– Controller has 300 meters range along with basic telemetry of battery warning, and loss of signal warning.
– Automatic return to home and landing on command, loss of signal, or on low battery.
– 1080p HD FPV camera with remote control up/down swivel lens. Camera has built-in microSD card slot to allow onboard recording. This prevents WiFi freezing and frame dropping in recorded video.
– FPV video is viewed through the Bugs Go app available on Play here https://goo.gl/vQsf6k and iTunes here https://goo.gl/KMEvYF
– Telemetry of battery, WiFi, and controller signal is also available in the app.
– App also has safety geofencing which you can adjust or turn off or on as desired.
– 7.4V 1800mah battery gives 12 minutes flight time.

Cons
– FPV camera uses 802.11ac WiFi. Not everyone has this WiFi on their phone. First verify that your phone is capable of 802.11ac WiFi before considering purchase.
– Uses your phone’s GPS system for follow me and waypoint flying. Make sure that your phone’s GPS system is turned on and working to utilize these two flight control modes.
– Proprietary battery strictly designed for the Bugs 5W. Can not use Bugs 2 or Bugs 3 batteries.
– Fake cosmetic antennas on controller.
